Oleana "Ollie" Aceti, born January 3, 1930, passed away on January 4, 2018, a day after her 88th birthday. Beloved by her extensive family, she was predeceased by many family members and is survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends whom she deeply cherished. Ollie always put family first and instilled in those she loved a deep sense of caring and appreciation for family.

Ollie was the daughter of the late John and Philomena Aceti, who came to the United States from Italy before Ollie was born. She is the sister of:

Ollie was the daughter of the late John and Philomena Aceti, who came to the United States from Italy before Ollie was born. She is the sister of:

the late Mary Aratari (husband Henry), mother of Chiarina Aratari, Anthony Aratari (wife Rosalie, daughters Anne Marie, Carolynn and Karyn), and John Aratari (wife Marie, daughter Nicole (Vito husband), sons Tom (wife Anmarie) and John (wife Dyani);
the late Daniel Aceti (wife Solange), father of Diana Aceti (daughter Danielle Gingerich), Camille Demery (husband, Dan; daughter Catherine) and Laura Ziginow (husband Gary) and the late Catherine Aceti;
the late Anthony Aceti (wife Marie), father of Michelle McNulty (husband Brian, daughters Mara Hiller and Kelsey Kuhlman, son Paul McNulty), Michael Aceti (wife Panee, daughter Wave and son Aiya); Dan Aceti (wife Ana), son John and daughters Isabella and Daniela; and Carla (husband Greg) daughters Natalie and Ansley, son Riley);
the late Ernest Aceti (wife Marietta) daughters Gianina Aceti and Angela Ferrero (husband Tony, daughter Giuliana, son Anthony).

A strong, independent, selfless woman, Oleana maintained an unwavering faith which was the foundation of her life. She retired from the Railway Express Agency after 24 years and later enjoyed careers at Lanphar's and the Ford Motor Co. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing, gardening and was an avid sports fan.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 10 from 2:00-8:00 pm, with a rosary service at 6:00 pm, at the Harry J. Will Funeral Home at 37000 Six Mile in Livonia, MI.

The Funeral mass will be on January 11 at 11:00 a.m. at St.Genevieve Parish Church at 29015 Jamison St in Livonia, MI, with a visitation at 10:15am. http://saintgenevieve.org/church/
